Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11:30 am–8:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Pomodoros Greek & Italian Café at (828) 299-3032; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is pomodorositalian.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Asheville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Asheville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Janelle our waitress was wonderful, really went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, including running my cell phone out to the parking lot and tracking down our car when I accidentally left it at the table! Thank you! Food was okay, standard Italian fare. It felt a little expensive for the quality, though the portions were generous. Janelle is the best! thoughtful, considerate and good at her job!

I live in Asheville. I don’t go out much to eat, but being that it’s a weekend and I had cravings for Italian food, I just googled a few places. Being that I am by myself, I prefer bar seating. Well, my craving suggested this place. I truly went here with no expectations. I left with nothing but absolute overall great experience. Why this place isn’t packed at all times it’s beyond me. Excellent menu excellent service, but also the fact that they pay extreme attention to details as far as the food they serve is impressing. I will not eat salmon at any restaurant. They clearly stated that The salmon here is raised in the Faroe Islands. As a Scandinavian, who was pretty much raised on Trout and Salmon, I can tell you that the Faroe Island salmon even if it’s farm race it’s safe. I was extremely impressed by this fact. I was also impressed by the fact that everybody, Ryan, the bartender and the girls running around serving food. All were extremely professional and extremely service minded. I would do anything in my power to promote this place and I will be back. And I was not even gonna go out to eat this evening. Lol.

Our first visit to Pomodoros and loved it. We are from out if town and decided on Pomodoros due to the location from our hotel and interested in the Italian Greek menu. We arrived around 615 on a Tuesday, no wait to be seated. Drinks and bread & olive oil came out promptly. For an appetizer I ordered the chef select tomato basil soup. It came out hot and had the option of freshly grated pepper over the soup. The tomato bits added nice texture and flavor to the soup. Perfectly seasoned. My entree I went a bit lighter, Mussels Me Ouzo Prince Edward Island Mussels, lemon-Ouzo cream sauce, tomatoes, garlic and feta cheese. I cannot rave enough about the sauce. It was the highlight light of the bowl. Mussels were cooked perfectly about a dozen and a half in the bowl. Very filling. The extra sauce was eaten with the warm crusty bread. My husband went with the Gorgonzola Porka Grilled pork loin served with Parmesan crusted Brussels sprouts and smashed yucon potatoes, topped with a gorgonzola cream sauce. Another fantastic choice. Half was packed and brought home. Justine our server was ver attentive and very pleasant. Even laughed when I tried to pay the bill with my HSA card that was deni

We went on a weekend afternoon for a very late lunch and no one else was there so we were concerned. But everything was great and we had a wonderful meal! We discovered our fix for Italian. Soup, stromboli, and a bowl of pasta later.....we were full and happy. Everything was well cooked and satisfied our cravings. We appreciated and enjoyed the free bread service. And our server was very friendly and attentive.
